An autumn classic.
The Apple Cake recipe you’ve been waiting for- the classic grandma’s recipe, so delicious and so easy that everybody can make it. And perfect for your snack or coffee break this season.
1.- 250 g. self- raising flour
2.- 250 g. butter (melted)
3.- 250 g. sugar
4.- 2 apples
5.- 4 eggs
6.- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
1.- Preheat the oven to 180°c
2.- In a medium mixing bowl place the flour, the sugar and the eggs.
3.- Whisk with an electric mixer or a food processor until the ingredients are well combined.
4.- Melt the butter and add to the mixture. Whisk well the ingredients until it is creamy and smooth (about 1- 2 minutes).
5.- Peel the apples, remove the core and cut it into wedges.
6.- Pour the apples into a greased tin and top with the batter.
7.- Bake until golden and a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean, about 35 to 40 minutes in a preheated oven at 180°c.
8.- Allow the cake to cool in the tin for about 20 minutes.
9.- Serve and enjoy!
